There are two ways to populate your newsletter with subscribers and their e-mail addresses. The natural way is to add the Newsletter widget on your website and wait for your visitor to subscribe. The second method is to add e-mail addresses manually.
Use the Newsletter widget
Go to the widget configuration page https://www.skipperblogs.com/dashboard/theme/widgets choose Newsletter in the available widget list, select if you want it to appear either on the sidebar or in the footer of your website and click Add the widget.
You can have the widget added to both sidebar and footer aeras. Just repeat this process a second time.
Manually add or import addresses
On the newsletter subscription list https://www.skipperblogs.com/dashboard/newsletter you can either add single e-mail address or import a file containing a collection of e-mail addresses.
Click on Add subscriber to add a single address or click on import file to upload a .txt or .csv file.
About the subscribers list
The subscriber list contains subscribed AND unsubscribed e-mail. When sending a newsletter with Skipperblogs, the system will only send messages to subscribed e-mail addresses. When exporting the list, the e-mail address is marked as either subscribed or unsubscribed.
