The youngest person to circumnavigate the world was 16-year old Laura Dekker.

How can we help?

How to embed the live map on other website?

Skipperblogs is a blogging platform, but if you already have one website, you probably only need the map with the marine tracking features.

This is why we also offer the possibility to embed the tracking map on other website with the use of an Iframe.

Example of map embedding on a Wordpress site (https://www.jakoblangsailing.com/tracker/)

How to display the map using an Iframe?

Go on the map sharing page https://www.skipperblogs.com/dashboard/nav/map/share. On the left side (or first block) you have the HTML code containing the Iframe data to load the map.

Copy the embedding code and paste it on your website. You can change the height and width of the frame in pixel. If you change, in the code, the heigth to 100% and width to 100% instead of px, the frame will take all available space.

The displayed map style can be personalized by changing the background layer, the map info position, track color, boat icon, etc... in the map editor https://www.skipperblogs.com/dashboard/map-editor.

How to display the map using Wordpress Plugin?

Alternatively to Iframe, you can use our dedicated Wordpress Plugin for the same reslut. Go on https://wordpress.org/plugins/boat-tracker/ and download the plugin or search Boat tracker from your Wordpress installation.

If you don't know how to install a plugin on your Wordpress installation, please follow this guide https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/manage-plugins/

Once installed, the Boat tracker plugin requires your Map ID in order to fetch and display your map. On the page https://www.skipperblogs.com/dashboard/nav/map/share in the second block dedicated to Wordpress, copy your your Map ID and paste it in the Wordpress plugin settings.

Save the settings and your map will be displayed on your own website.

The map style can be personalized by changing the background layer, the map info position, track color, boat icon, etc... in the map editor https://www.skipperblogs.com/dashboard/map-editor.
