How to edit the menu ? (add, edit and remove links)

If you want to add, or remove a menu item, go to DashboardMenu.

In the menu edit page, the left hand side represents the current menu content and the right hand side contains the items you can add to it.

Available elements

Homepage : link to the homepage of your website
Contact form : link to you contact form
Page : link to a page
Article : link to a specific blog article
Categorie: link displaying all articles of a specific category
Custom link : link to an URL (E.g. https://www.facebook.com/svtariania)

Add an item to the menu

Click on one available element. A popup will open where you can set the text of the link. The link target, Opens in, define whether it will be opened in the same window or in a new one. In most cases it should open in the same window. Click on Add to menu and your new item will be inserted at the end of the menu.

Don't forget to save your change !

You have to manually save each change you make to the menu by clicking on Save and publish button

Before adding an item

Some content have to be created before you can add it to the menu. Single articles, page, gallery, etc... would only appear in the available elements after being created

Custom items

You can add custom links to the menu to an external page. Don’t forget to add https:// to the URL, otherwise your link will not be redirected correctly.

Modifying display order

Menu items are displayed in the same order on your website (from left to right). You can change this order and the hierarchy (sub-menu). To do this, click and hold a link from the menu and drag it to its new position. You can drag it over another link to make it a submenu. You can also click the grey arrows to move the link one notch up or one notch down. Only one level of submenu is possible.
