How can we help?

Export content to another website

On Skipperblogs you own your data. To match this philosophy, a data export tool is available in the dashboard under DashboardModulesImport/Export Exportation .

Four export sections are available

Articles, comments, categories and pages

This section exports the text content of your site; articles, comments, pages and categories. This content is downloaded in XML file format (a file type used for data transport), which you can then import on a Wordpress site, or any other platform supporting this file format. This file does not include site design, themes and extensions.

Images, files, documents

This section allows you to download all the files you uploaded via the file manager. The file then downloaded is a ZIP archive containing all your photos and other documents.

Map tracks

This section allows you to download the map data: tracking paths, manually added path, waypoints and markers of geotagged articles. The downloaded file is in GPX format; Most applications or GPS devices are using this format, so your data can be used on a wide variety of devices and online services.

Personal data

This last section allows you to recover all personal data about you (as well as all users of your site). The data is presented in table format in CSV format.
