No targeted tracking (cookies, pixel tracking, tracking link, or fingerprinting)
Skipperblogs does not track visitors and users behavior with special technology. The only cookies set by Skipperblogs are the session ID used for dashboard authentication, dashboard slow mode and cache preferences.
On the other hand, visits and page view are measured based on anonymized IP addresses. No cookie banner
As no tracking cookie is set and no personal data on visitor are collected, there is no need for any annoying cookie banner. A banner will only show if you decide to use a third party web analytics service.

No user lock-in
You can freely move your data in and out. Standard format are supported allowing you to export all your data to another platform or website. If you are not satisfied with Skipperblogs you can take your data with you.

Total control over your location data
As you own and control the devices reporting your position, you can can turn them off at any moment. You can also disable trackings in your Skipperblogs account.
All your location data are stored in a GPX file which can be edited in the the map editor and downloaded. No location data are saved elsewhere. -
Right to be forgotten
If you decide to close your account, all your data are deleted. We keep nothing of you.
